Porto Private Walking Tour
Porto’s charm is unique and worth discovering. Being one of Portugal’s oldest cities, its streets are narrow and full of history.
On this private walking tour, we will visit Porto’s stunning Sé Cathedral, the city’s birthplace, with striking architecture from the Romanesque era. We will pass along Porto´s famous landmarks, such as the Clérigos Tower, a beautiful monument in the Baroque style. Nearby, is the Lello Bookstore, one of the most beautiful and oldest libraries in the world. We will walk through the city´s historic center – and feel the magic of this ancient medieval city and the warmth of its inhabitants.
We will stop at one of Porto’s historical cafés renowned for its beauty. It opened its doors in 1933 in the heart of downtown as the meeting place of politicians, businessmen, and artists. Then, we will go to São Bento train station. With over 2,000 tiles, the walls of this stunning train station illustrate different scenes from Portuguese history. Continue discovering Porto through one of its most beautiful streets – Rua das Flores – lined with chic cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, and hip boutiques.
We couldn’t end this private tour without trying some of our famous Port Wine. Taste this excellent wine enjoying an astonishing view of the Douro River.
